Parent's Day Celebration

Alas, this year we are not celebrating a traditional mother’s or father’s day service, so et’s make up for that, by having a newly-invented holiday, “Parents’ Day” to celebrate parents of all sorts.  For this Sunday service, members & friends are invited to share short tributes to parents or parenting, or speak briefly on “The Best Advice My Parent Ever Gave Me” & related topics.  We’ll also hear a wonderful story from our Washington-state friend, Jane Lowrey.  We already have two-speakers lined up for short talks, and would love to hear from you too – please contact JoAnn Conard very soon if you’d like to be part of this less-formal service (661-706-1051 or jbconard@sbcglobal.net).
